Nothing like a little whoop as to wake up the legs

Ive not been too motivated to ride much. Its the endurance phase and when I have been able to ride I go deathly slow in order to make the time pass longer so that when I get back home my ride time is higher.

My friend and I joined a group ride yesterday and it was a shocker. Right from the start these guys were flying. I was going hard enough to wheeze and wish for an inhaler. Within the first 1/2hr I was thinking of breaking off just to go at an easier pace. I ask myself if it is a good thing to be going too hard too early.

But the fact is this isnt somehting I do on a regular basis. A good smack down on my legs even this early helps wake me up, get the legs going and helps to motivate me. But still it was still way faster than Id be going if I were by myself.

Weve gone from high 20s to mid 60s in a week. Better enjoy it while I can.

NEW BIGGER little Gable Boxes

I am SO excited to finally offer BIGGER gable boxes. The "Alto" gable box is the same shape as my "mini" gable box, only larger.


The "Breeve" gable box (which I must admit is my new favorite box) is a short and stout box, with 4" x 2.5" of room in the box section.

 I cant wait to start making and decorating some of these for friends, family and teachers this holiday season.

Nocando Little Green Monsters Music Video

Los Angeles MC and Hellfyre Club founder Nocando might be more well known for his world class freestyling ability than for his actual musical output, but I have a feeling that might change after the release of his upcoming 2nd solo album Jimmy The Burnout.  The lead single “Little Green Monsters” just received a killer video treatment that makes an already really cool song that much more memorable.  It’s not exactly clear what’s going on in the video beyond Nocando being able to seemingly transport himself into whatever he’s watching on TV mixed with close-up shots of his blood covered head spinning while he raps and screams, but it works.  It’s simple but disorienting and fits the song’s schizophrenic feel like a glove.  A psychedelic, hazy chorus from Liphemra pulls it all together and makes “Little Green Monsters” one of the most addictive songs of the year to this point.  Jimmy The Burnout drops February 4^th on his Hellfyre Club imprint.  You can also listen to Nocando on the excellent hip hop centric podcast Shots Fired with Jeff Weiss from PassionWeiss.com weekly.
